...I have a very wide taste in music and will listen to most things within reason! ie. No Boybands, Girl power or rubbish like that. I purchased this c.d from a shop called Carbon, which is in Urban Outfitters,Templebar, Dublin, and am I glad I did. If you are unaware of BBE its a fantastic record label, which stands for Barely Breaking Even, in London. If you do know it then you'll know the kind of stuff they put together. Check out there website for a better idea at www.bbemusic.com (although not the best site in the world) Strange Games and Things is mixed by Dj Spinna and you get a total of three c.d's all together. The First disc is mixed by spinna and is a mixture of laid back grooves linked between 70's soul, the 80's rare groove revival, and 90's R&B and hip-hop, and is perfect for a chilled laid back evening listening to a few... Advantages: Great Loops, Beats and Vocals

...If you are looking for a C.D with Bass and Good Vocals then this C.D is the one for you. CD1- DJ Seduction starts things off on the C.D with songs such as, 'Make some noise for Hardcore', and 'Caught Up In Your Love' remixed with Sy & Unkown. These tunes are sure to get things lively and will sound great in a car especially if you have a sound sytem- for all you boy racers out there! CD2- Stu Allan continues to keep the Bass jumping and will get you off your seat to bounce with da music! His mixes are not as good as DJ seduction but will keep even the most simple minded person happy with the mixes. CD3- Robbie long will also make you feel great with his version of feel good tunes such as X-Rated which has good vocals if you like that sort of thing. Advantages: A few really good tracks, some De La Soul tunes you have never heard before
Disadvantages: The album has no flow, a few weak remixes

...is handy as they lay down unusual and thoughtful rhymes. They often rap with their own brand of reality. They sometimes use words that they made up and rap about subjects that can be serious or just plain. De La Soul has their own sound without being too out there. At the time it was ground breaking. De La Soul was proud to be different and talented enough to make it in the mainstream. Since 1989 De La Soul has released more albums, none of which ever carried the heft of 3 Feet High and Rising. They fell from Tommy Boy's graces and almost faded away to obscurity. They are still making music and released The Grind Date in 2004 with the Sanctuary Urban label (see fun fact #1).
