All Of Yesterday Tomorrow - Amp

Advantages: meaningful lyrics and great instrumentalism (?)
Disadvantages: Not enough people have heard their music.

...You may think that you've never heard any of their songs, but you probably have. I first heard this song on a Sun Newspaper advert some years ago. I loved it. I then spent around a year looking for it, until a student friend of my sisters claimed to have it up in Barnsley. I went all the way up there and borrowed it from him. That's how much I love this song. (consiquently, I stil have it [sorry!]) It's quite long, and includes great lines like "yesterday was a walk in the park, while tomorrow is a step in the dark" and "these days you've got kill yourself just to stay alive". ...The Stereophonics are the best thing ever to come out of Wales. 'Performance & Cocktails' is the best album from the Stereophonics by far. If you like indie music then you cannot fault this album. They are mostly upbeat, some are slower. The album is comprised of the tracks 'Roll Up And Shine', 'The Bartender And The Thief', 'Hurry Up And Wait', 'Pick A Part That's New', 'Just Looking', 'Half The Lies You Tell Ain't True', 'I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio', 'T-Shirt Sun Tan', 'Is Yesterday, Tomorrow, Today?', 'A Minute Longer', 'She Takes Her Clothes Off', 'Plastic California' and 'I Stopped TO Fill My Car Up'. I love all of these tracks, my favourite being 'I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio'. This CD can be played over and over and does not seem to age ever. Thoroughly reccommended.... Read review

...I bought this cd after hearing Pick A Part That's New, the only song by the Stereophonics that has gotten any airplay here. I knew that they were No.1 in the U.K. and I like other British bands like Radiohead and the Manic Street Preachers and Muse anyway so I decided to try it. I am so glad I did. This is probably one of the best cds that I have bought in a while. Kelly Jones' voice is addictive. This cd is good for just about any taste too. It ranges from songs with more pop-like choruses like This album has it all from the rocky 'bartender and the thief to the truly outstanding 'just looking' this album is a must for all music fans their unique sound of rock will blow you away. Then there are a couple of more mellow songs such as Hurry Up and Wait and Is Yesterday,Tomorrow,Today?, which is my personal favorite. I would encourage... Read review
