All Or Nothing - Aynsley Lister

Advantages: an album you will want to listern to again and again

...when i found this album in 2005 i had'nt really seen a lot of these tracks before as it's an import to the uk. but on playing this cd i found that the tracks were really good the beat and music seamed to be really lively and with in an hour i found myself singing along to the tracks. Bonnie tyler's voice on this cd is really sharp and i think this possibly one of the only bonnie tyler albums that really show her true voice. the album dose not drown on and kept me listering from begining to end. the tracks all seamed to be diffrant and ofcourse a couple of old classics to finish off with if you are thinking of buying this album you can expect to pay around 10.00 upwards. the faster moving tracks such as back home,race to the fire,fire in my soul. i just could not stop listering to them. well worth buying.... Advantages: Several Rock Compilation Mainstays,One of Coverdales best ever performances
Disadvantages: Too commercial for some, also a far cyr from the earlier bluesier whitesnake

...that he fired were as important to this records sound as coverdale was, john sykes, neil murray and aynsley dunbar were all top musicians, but I guess he had his reasons Basically this album is the album that you all really want without realising it if that is your into slick radio friendly rock bands such as boston or rainbow, the chances are you are also into this album and are already familiar with half of this album, but there is so much more to this album than the best rock album ever mainstays, is this love and here i go again and for that reason you should all check it out because you are unlikely to be to disappointed, this is so underrated that it is unreal, most will agree that this is the best whitesnake album from their rockier period but unless the name whitesnake actually comes up few people will bother to name 1987 and thats... Advantages: Good showcase for Christine Collister's talents

...This album is a marvellous showcase for Christine Collister's unique molasses-rich voice. Not all the tracks are of the highest quality, but when she flies she flies high. Her own compositions, Waiting for My Prayer and the title track are beautifully executed. Other highlights include Sarah Mclachlan's Full of Grace, a stunning version of Motherless Child and an interesting take on Henry Mancini/Johnny Mercer's Moon River. At other times she sounds like Alison Moyet or Cher on Stars in thier Eyes, but there can be no doubting the musicianship on this album. Mention should also be made of John Surman's tenor sax and Martin Lister who is responsible for programming and keyboards. A pleasant album, An Equal Love is at its best when Collister is singing roots and jazz, but please stay off the Euro-pop.... Read review
