Advantages: Three and a Half Hours of Some of the best live rock you'll ever hear

Jersey girl The only song that is a glaring omission from this selection is "Jungleland" but at this price you can't really complain too much. Springsteen at this time was one of the biggest live acts doing the round , and although this may seem like overkill, it dwarfs most other live albums , just by the sheer quantity of material that is here. It's an excellent companion to his "Greatest Hits" selection and is well worth the investment if you're either a fan of his music, or you just want to hear more of his work.... Read review

Advantages: Even Springsteen below his best outdoes most of the competition
Disadvantages: Not up to the standards his fans have come to expect

...It is often said that Bruce Springsteen is an artist who has never released a bad album and while this is true, the closest he has come is almost certainly this and the simultaneously released Lucky Town which, despite being hits, were disappointing to many of The Boss`s fans. Like Born In The USA, Human Touch goes for a radio-friendly and overly commercial rock feel which does away with much of the more personal, meaningful, story-telling lyrical style which Sprigsteen made his trademark on earlier releases. It`s not bad and by no means a total sell-out, but there`s nothing there to really get to you in the way that standout tracks on Born To Run, The River or even Born In The USA could, although the title track is a rousing number. With the high standards set by his previous releases this must be considered a poor effort... Read review

...the presidents of the united states of america, to give them their full and proper name and the name which I remain to call them throughout this 90 word reveiw because that is what presidents of the usa is short for, exploded on the scene a few years ago with peaches, a punky rock song about erm..... peaches. Millions of peaches, give them to me sings a bald midget whilst comming under attack from loads of midget ninjas in the video. They have also covered video killed the radio star and had a hit with lump. I dont know if I would have bought the album but I liked all the ones I heard... Read review
