Advantages: Unaged and powerful poetry, beautiful music and production, memorable artwork Disadvantages: Short
...While the years may have changed the subjects which ache Linton Kwesi Johnson haven't.
Neither has Linton, thankfully.
Inspired by the poetry of the Bible - the only book in his grandmother's house in Jamaica, whom he had lived with until moving to Brixton at the age of 11 to be with his mother -, Linton decided at an early age to be a writer.

Advantages: Amazing powerhouse drumming, long solos. Disadvantages: All tracks sound stylistically the same.
...This album, Dennis Chambers, a world class drummer plays along with some world class musicians like Scofield (guitar), Michael Brecker (tenor saxophone), Randy Brecker (trumpet), Jim Beard (Clavinet, organ, keyboards and synthesizer) and Will Lee (bass guitar).

After departing from school she left to start training as a nurse t the Royal Brompton Hospital but shortly after in 1965 joined the Kingston college of art where she joined and became heavily involved in the on campus folk club. Here she met fellow students John Renbourn and Eric Clapton, after singing at a show at Earl's court she was spotted by legends The Strawbs and offered to join the band, where she made one album before leaving to join the saviours of British folk The Fairport Convention.
Although her stay at the Fairport Convention was short...
