Blue are a new band who just came out into the music worl April this year,(2001). Blue are Lee Ryan (18), Simon Webbe (22), Antony Costa (20) and Duncan James (22). They are a UK boy band, not all from London the only Londoner in the band is Lee.

1.ALL RISE (3:43)
This was the bands debut single out in April which didn't quite get them a number one chart position but they stayed in the top ten for ages. This song has a catchy sound in the back it's hard to describe, but it's a song everyone has to love it's great to sing to if you can pick up all the words and brilliant.
2.TOO CLOSE (3:45)
This song was a cover of American band Next's single Too Close,
but I have to say from hearing the two I prefer Blue's. Too Close has an american sound to it with the words to, but it's got a great backing beat to it and is the type that would be played in cubs everywhere. This song came out August/September and this time they got a number one.
3.THIS TEMPTATION (3:35)
I love this song it's one of my two favourites on the album which I hadn't heard as singles. This has a catchy poppy, dancy background and it's really catchy. The song is about holding back from things they are tempted to do, by hearing the chorus you should guess. The singing in this song is great and the whole song fits perfectly. This is hopefully a future single.
4.IF YOU COME BACK (3:27)
This song is a ballad and was out this Novemeber, it again was a second Number one for blue. This song is a ballad and when I first heard it I hated it because it was so different from Blue's other stuff but when I heard it I then loved it and realised how nice a song it is. It isn't a completely slow ballad it has a moving background at least.
5.FLY BY (3.46)
This reminds me of All Rise a bit because it has the same sort of sound as it, but this should be explained by the fact it was done by the same people as All Rise. This song is quite a lot of people's favourite from what I have heard. It has an American sound but it's catchy still and excellent. It's sort of about driving around with the person you love, as they explain.
6.BOUNCE (3:52)
This song has a great sort of bouncy beat in the background, it's very upbeat and I like this also. I didn't at first but I now really do it's great. The chorus is really catchy to, another song you can't resist dancing to.
7.LONG TIME (4:14)
This song is a ballad, I am not sure if this is the next single or not but I would raher it was a faster song for the next single. It's nice ballad which takes time to get used to but it isn't the best song off the album.
8.MAKE IT HAPPEN (3:14)
I think this song is another which takes a while to get used to, it's ok but to me the chorue isthe best part in the song. This is more a song I would listen to to relax to, more easy listening.
9.BACK TO YOU (3:04)
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!This is absolutely fabulous, Lee takes the lead vocals in this song, because he has the most powerful voice to fit in with the hard beats of music in this song. It has to be a future single, it's fast, brilliant and I just couldn't hate it.
10.GIRL I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND (3:26)
This is a midtempo song, it's quite good but not a favourite of mine. It has nice singing in it but no matter how many times I lsiten to it I just never seem to get used to it.
11.BACK SOME DAY (4.00)
This has quite an unusual start but I like this song. This has quite a hard backing bat but the singing is nice. Again this is a ballad but the chorus brings this song to a better sound.
12.BEST IN ME (3.11)
This is obviously a ballad like most albums to finish the album. I don't really like this song it's too slow and only has a guitar playing in the background which shows the music isn't up to much. It builds up a bit second verse but still doenst change my mind about the song.
OVERALL VIEW
For a debut album I am definitely impressed I love this album, I think most people would unless they had heard Blue's music and not liked them. It's quite easy listening though this album and out of 10 I would give it 9.
