1. "All The Things"
This is an example of Joe at his best, in one of the best showcases throughout the whole of the album. You get Joe singing to his maximum potential as he talks of how he is able to fulfuil all the desires of a girl who he knows is taken, but wishes she could have more from it.
**Five Stars**
2. "The Love Scene"
Here you get a very well-composed one where Joe acts in par of a love scene. it is a nice one, where you get him sing very descriptively as to how it should be acted out; leaving you will a very sensual display and lots to go through as he gradually works his way through each individual act in the scene.
**Four Stars**
3. "Don't Wanna Be A Player"
This is the best track that Joe ever recorded, and has him working extremely well whilst singing with convinction that he is willing to leave a life a being a player, to spend the rest of his life with a girl he truely loves. You amazing Teddy Riley-styled vocodcer techniques working alongside one of the best vocal performances of the late nineties.
**Five Stars**
4. "Good Girls"
Joe sings about the sorry state of things were he isn't able to get what he describes to be "Good Girls", due to the fact that they have already been taken, and all that is left are ones who he knows will do him wrong in the long-term. You have this despiration highlighted with a slow tempo and vocals whihc are close to crying.
**Four Stars**
5. "How Soon"
You get Joe singing in ahighly motive form as he attempts to express the hurt which he feels whislt his girl has gone from him. He talks about how thouht-provoking the process was, and how it influenced his actions following it all. I thought it was a nice one, but not close to the best here.
**Three Stars**
6. "Sanctified Girl"
There wasn't really much to this one, the only reason why I thought it was alright was because it seemed to fit right in with th way that the R&B scene was going as you get an upped pace, but generally its rather plain, and has little to offer to listeners when it comes to originality.
**Three Stars**
7. "All That I Am"
Personally, I thought that the title track from the album was one of the weakest offerings from the artist as he takes the pace down and does a sloppy love song, and to be honest, he only works well on a low tempo when he is going for sensual stuff, and is able to get soulful with it.
**Two Stars**
8. "No One Else Comes Close"
Here you have a nice and slow one from Joe, in which he is given the chance to fully explore his capablities on the vocals. He comes up with great melodies which grab you with their unpredictibilty and strength at extreme pitches. It is a very complete track from him, and amongst the highest standard on "All That I Am".
**Four Stars**
9. "Come Around"
This sounds like a 'part 2' to "All The Things" as pretty much all the same themses creep bak up through this one. However I see notign wrng with it as it takes on a new form with an increased tempo, and lively beats to really get you inot the thing. It is a banger, and should have been released as a single at the time.
**Four Stars**
10. "U Shoulda Told Me"
You get the artist working on soem funky beats which sample James Brown's "Big Payback", and from it, he expresses the annoyance which he facesafter having a seven-week-long relatiosnhip with a girl, before she fialyl decides to tell him that she already has a man, and doesn't wish to take things any further. Its a strong R&B cut which was a little ahead of its time.
**Four Stars**
11. "Love Don't Make No Sense"
All that the concept of 'love' is, is put into question by Joe, as he tries to work a way aroudn its huge complexity. The thought-provoking event which triggered it is having his girl cheat on him, and not understanding why such a thing would happen if the love which she claims to have is true.
**Four Stars**
Here is a very good R&B album, with a lot of variety. The two singles from it, All The Things", and "Don't Wanna Be A Player" are my favourites my him, and with tunes similar to this found dotted about the album, you are bound to enjoy them if you feel the same about those bangers. Much of it is of the soulful type, but he does swicth it up a little to appeal to a wider audience.
Advantages: Great voice and vocals, RnB, Soul, love, slow tracks, couple upbeat tracks Disadvantages: None
...school used to play this all the time so I have some really fond memories of it... Interesting video too.
'Good Girls' is also another slow ballad with a very nice soundtrack in the background combined with more of his lovely and interesting lyrics 'Why are all the good girls taken every time?' I recall it was a hit and had also had a rather interesting video.
'All That I am' is a lovely lovely track; a real crooner! haha:) Great lyrics, great ... ...man in love with you; all that I am is a man who's heart is true...' It's a sweet track with a simple background and Joe plays his guitar on this track too as you see in the lovely simple video..
It is easy to see why the album has this title as it is essentially an album about love, relationships and the ballads are mostly about that and a bit more...
'No One Else Comes Close' is such a beautiful track, almost brings tears to my eyes when I listen ...

...this album, and if only all music were like this, the charts would not be in such a state of degeneration today.
The album opens with a sublime, sexually charged track, "All the things", which purgges sexual desire and the boundaries of lust. This is what Joe does best; his smooth voice penetrating the heart of his listeners, making them feel all warm inside.
"The Love Scene" continues this trend, but it is 2Don't Wanna be a Player" which shows ... ...lucky lady!
"Love don't make no Sense" is another highligh track, demonstrating exactly what Joe is; he is human and admits his weaknesses, but his divine voice and sublime lyrics simply elevate him artistically above his competitors.
He is unique and unrivalled, that is all that he is. ...

Advantages: Good tunes for getting in the mood Disadvantages: Too many tunes of the same type of beat
Joe's second album. This is the follow-up to 'AllThatIAm'. This time Joe has decided give his songs a little more beat rather than sing a load of melodic ballads. This album is more of a "under the covers" type with songs like "Somebody Gotta Be On Top". A good choice for those that want to get in to the late night mood. I personally found this album to be different in it's own way although much of the beats and style of song writing are the same as in the first album. ...
Advantages: Lyrics, Originallity Disadvantages: Unheard of Artist
This is the follow up to Joes first album 'AllThatIAm', this album in my opinion is far better than the first album. The lyrics and songs are more relaxed that the first album and of a better quality. Most of the songs on the album are of excellent quaility and superbly wrote, the bests one I feel are black hawk and get crunk tonight, but all the songs on the album are excellent.
The cover and presentation is also very good, but main downside to the album sucess is that many people havent heard of this artist, but to be honest I wouldnt let that put you off as it is one of the best R&B albums in recent years ...
Advantages: original and different and V BOLD! Disadvantages: not ne I can think of!
us its appropriateness:
"..What we gotta do me and you we have to change our selfish ways no matter who else does, we have to rise rise above come together in love."
Other tracks on this album are ?I like sexy girls? which is a pretty upbeat and chirpy track which will get you bobbing your head and toe tapping at least.
?World of Girls? is a smooth laid back track with an alright tune in which he talks about his travels and all the girls.
The first time I heard ?Here she comes? I was laughing at the lyrics. It?s certainly a very different sounding track in that the beat and the music are very catchy.
Overall we see a lot of experimentation from Joe in this album. His best works are undoubtedly ?AllThatIam? and ?My Name Is Joe? ? His two earlier albums. I have read a few reviews that don?t give Joe much respect for this ...

Producers include: Joe Thomas, Joshua Thompson, Edwin Nichols, Rodney Jerkins, Gerald Levert. Engineers include: Earl Cohen, Eric Gast, Dexter Simmons. On ALL THAT I AM, Joe offers 12 tracks of slow, smooth R&B stylings, with diverse arrangements and creative performance, all centered around the breathy, earnest voice of Joe Thomas. In addition to his multi-tracked vocal arrangements, Joe also makes substantial keyboard, programming, and production contributions. Lyrically, the album ranges from the swaggering bravado of "The Love Scene" to the emotional vulnerability of "No One Else Comes Close." Not wanting to fall back on R&B cliches, Joe opts for a fresher metaphor--"I hear he' s got you in lockdown, but I got the master key" ["All The Things (Your Man Won't Do)"]. ALL THAT I AM features some impressive production tricks including the reverse loop intro to "U Shoulda Told Me (U had A Man)," the flanged vocal effects of "Don't Wanna Be A Player" and exotic instrumental samples throughout.
