However, except for one or two exceptions this album lacks the strength in depth of a true Greatest Hits release. As the title suggests we have all the hits, but sadly we also have the 'and more' which are fundamentally sub-standard.
Hits were few and far between for Marmalade, their few top ten successes spread over almost five years. This album shows why. Whilst the tracks could never be consider to be 'samey' (unlike the haircuts!), they never managed to evolve into the following decade and were soon forgotten as Motown, disco and glam-rock flooded the airwaves.
