All These Things - My Little Problem

Advantages: Great sing a long nonsense
Disadvantages: It may be taken seriously?

.... Every now and then the drums crash in and the guitars howl out as the emotion becomes just too much for this slip of a man from the east coast. Justin opens his souls to us and lets us know that he’s coping, what he’s coping with I’m not sure maybe he’s all out of his favourite hairspray? For all my little digs and snide comments I actually quite like this album and find them very entertaining. The problem for me is that they are not one thing or the other. Some songs are hilarious whilst others are obviously taking themselves far too seriously. I wouldn’t buy this album myself but I have enjoyed it immensely mainly because I didn’t buy it myself. I’ll probably dust off a few off the tracks for this years Bar-b-q but very rarely trawl through the album as a whole. I suggest you get someone to buy... Read review

Advantages: great range of songs
Disadvantages: involves listening to extra talking for ages

...It must be said, I shall be biased and I shall not care because I am a massive Blink 182 fan. Out of all their albums, this one and Chesire cat are probably the best. I suppose with all albums it is a matter of personal taste as the main reason why I prefer this to Take off your pants and jacket is because I prefer faster drum beats and TOYPAJ has some slower songs. I'm not entirely sure but I believe this album is a cover of some concert they did in the states. I wish I was there! The songs are great and you get extra ones that you don't find elsewhere, the album cover is actually very interesting to look at and you get Blink's little puns. I did have a slight problem with their talking as at the very end after all the songs there was just continuous talking. Now when I have the CD in my Hi-Fi its no problem but when I have it in my... Advantages: A brilliant collection of songs
Disadvantages: Could be seen as over-produced/Comercial, Lacks a bit in the middle

...I am a huge Rush fan, nearly all their albums are fantastic pieces of Rock history, this is no exception. It may have some of Rush's most comercial sounding songs on it, but that doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. It opens with "Dreamline" (the albums heaviest offering) a catchy Rock anthem that gets things started perfectly. Next comes "Bravado" an almost U2 esq. Ballad, in my opinion this is some the finest music Rush have ever produced, the lyrics are extremly poetic and meaningful (Typical Neil Peart). The title track "Roll the Bones", is a catchy funky rock song that contains a slightly comical, possibly sarcastic Rap section (performed by a CGI skelenton on stage). ...All The Small Things is from the most recent Blink 182 album called Emena of the state. It was a massive sucsess in the UK charts, and introduced many people into the strange, wacky world that is Blink 182. The video of this is most excellent, and they spend the whole time taking teh piss of other artists, but overall Blink 182 are a little bit immature for my liking. This is a cool song with an excellent beat, but i wouldn't go out deliberatly just to buy it. One thing is for sure, there's no other band like Blink 182.... Read review
