Advantages: Great sound! Disadvantages: Sub-par vocals
.... The theme of the album stems from the attitudes of the band members. You have to take into consideration that all the members were in their teenage years during production of the album, so their feelings and beliefs were reflected into it. The greatest asset on the album is the fact that Cliff Burton lead a great deal in the appeal and attitude of it. Pulling Teeth is a raw, fast, and crazy solo that drips with aggression that only Cliff could ever pull off with his one of kind "broken mould" type of style. The sound qualitty of course is not the greatest, but the version I have sounds pretty great considering original recording was over 21 years ago. This is the album in my collection that never seems to get old or outdated. I think this is the greatest album I've listened to up to this date. Advantages: Some great original music Disadvantages: A few overinduglent moments
...of William Shatner for some even more obscure mutterings “Could have been”, “Might have been”, “Sorry about that!”. Strange picked violins, lilting normal strings and an acoustic guitar. It’s a very strange ending to the album and the songs a bit to odd for it’s own good, but it’s only short so it never really grates on you.
So that was 41 and a bit minutes of strangeness from somewhere you really wouldn’t expect it. Liking Ben Folds Five is in no way a guarantee of liking this album. One for fans of strange music only really, although everyone should hear “In Love” at least once in his or her life!...

Advantages: New Different tracks, as well as the classic old style from Franz Ferdinand Disadvantages: Takes a while to enjoy and appreciate. Not as good as first album.
...The success of the first album, entitled Franz Ferdinand, was groundbreaking. The group from Glasgow, UK, even found success in the most difficult market for European artists, the US. The first album was fantastic, and I personally am still quite happy to sit down and have a good listen to it one year on. All this is fantastic and great, but what about the new album, YouCould Have It So Much Better.
Firstly I would like to note that I purchased this album through the iTunes Music Store, as due to this cannot review the packaging, however from what I can fathom, I purchased the standard edition version, with extra track, Do You Want To (Live), exclusive to iTunes. Anyway, back to the review.
TRACK 1 - The Fallen - *****
This is a brilliant opening track, it even in some respects surpasses the original albums greats...
