Advantages: A wistful and highly original album. Very poignant. Disadvantages: Not most people's cup of tea. Depressing.
...atmosphere.
Gigolo Aunt relieves this somewhat - a cheerful and completely mad song, as near as Syd gets to a conventional pop song on the album.
Waving My Arms in the Air returns to a more introspective feel - with some spoken passages, I think reflecting Syd's insecurities:
"There will be shoulders pressing in the hall
and I won't know if you're here at all
there will be wine and drinking in the yard
there won't be anybody very hard."
Wined and Dined is a wonderfully whimsical love song, which is very catchy. At the same time, however, it reads like a lament for a happy time that the singer has lost:
Wined and dined, oh it seemed just like a dream!
Girl was so kind, kind of love I'd never seen.
Only last summer, it's not so long ago...
Just last summer, now massed winds blow...

...only shout
We're coming clean forever, without a doubt
Like a machine gun trigger, you'd better watch out
Yeh, transplants don't give a fuck, that's where we're at
So here we come again with our original style
I said 'who the fuck are you? I been here for a while.'
We got distillers, afi, lfb, and crystal sound
Transplants are fearless and the most original
Tall cans in the air, let me see 'em ... fuck you! [x2]
Nobody move, nobody get hurt
Tall cans in the air, let me see 'em ... fuck you! [x2]
If you think I give a fuck, well you better think twice
U.s. thugs, wolfpack, and I ain't nothing nice
Check the date and time, lyrically committing hate crimes
Noose from the cord of my mic, now it's hang time
Blow minds with rhymes to break spines
Transplants comin' through and we're one of a kind
With a crow to your doe', make you flip like...

Hell Rell began his career as part of Dipset, doing his biggest collaboration on Cam'ron's "Get 'Em Daddy (Remix)." He's been featured on Jim Jones' Harlem: Diary of a Summer and Hustler's P.O.M.E., Dipset: The Movement Moves On, Cam'ron's Killa Season and J.R. Writer's History In The Making to name a few. He got the most hype from his mixtapes and street songs, which led to him producing his first album. His first single, "Show Off," is ironically one of the only good songs on the album, in which -- you guessed it -- he brags about hi material possessions he's about to "show off." He boasts in the songs lyrics, "Just...
