...He was born in 1913 and died of a heartattack in 1988.
Well, I have been listen to Roy Orbison for many years, and I just want to tell others that he is just the best. the Danish colllection my mom send me, is simply the best. I think that you can hear him anywhere, and that his voice is just great.
When my daddy died of cancer, I was listening to Roy Orbison, some of his songs just got me hanging in there, especially the song" In Dreams " Everyday when I drove home from the hospital crying, I was listening to him, and it maked me wanna go on, maybe it was just, because I needed something, but anyhow, his music is just great and lovely. Advantages: Awesome CD with some of Johnson's best songs Disadvantages: Nothing that stands out.
...These songs have grown on me. Everytime I hear them I notice a subtle nuance or expression in Eric's music that truly showcases his excellence in guitar. The album is a combination of original versions of his earlier hits with some remastered recordings of some of his sixties hits.
Roy re-recorded some of his most important hits in 1987. Not all the re-recorded hits here date from 1985. 'Crying' is a duet with k d lang recorded in 1988, while 'Dream baby' is a live performance from 1989. 'Ooby dooby' combines his original 1955 recording with his 1995 re...
