a great mcr cd/dvd set Review ofLife On The Murder Scene (Live/Parental Advisory) [UMD] [PA] - My Chemical Romanceby

Advantages: good mix of all of the songs Disadvantages: the dvds can be boring
...This is a great cd/dvd set. It has some of the bands best and worst songs on it. It can be bought at most good music stores for about fifteen pounds. It is great but there are a few down sides like on the dvd there is about six or seven perfomances of "im not ok." It is a good song but on this its a bit over played. I love all of the My Chemical Romance covers there all different from each other. Mcr have had many great songs, and most of them are on the CD or theDVD. I would recomend this DVD to any MCR fan if they dont have it and to any music lover who likes music DVDs because most of the DVD is great except for the many perfomances of "im not ok."...

Advantages: great intro to some excellent bands Disadvantages: those easily offended need not apply
...Firstly, don’t be put off by the crap cover design. This is an exceptional collection of live rock music with a hip-hop crossover and an introduction to some bands virtually unheard of in Britain. It includes Rammstein with the power stomping ‘Du Hast’ to a total ‘Korn’ fest. The best songs for me are probably Rammstein’s ‘Du Hast’, Korn’s ‘Got the Life’ and ‘Freak on a Leash’, Incubus’s ‘New Skin’ and although not original, a fun version of ‘Faith’ performed by Limp Bizkit and a storming version of ‘Jump Around’. I reckon twelve out of the fifteen songs are excellent...

THE greatest Review ofBest Of Belinda Vol.1, The - Belinda Carlisleby
juliebushnell
Advantages: the whole album Disadvantages: none
...This collection of Belinda's greatest hits from the 1987 album 'Heaven On Earth' onwards, beautifully reflects her progression through the realm of pop. The album contains fifteen tracks and all her biggest singles up until 1992, but curiously also includes the 'Live Your Life Be Free' album track, 'I Plead Insanity'. Rather than include this, admittedly brilliant, song, it would have perhaps been a better idea to include a new or unreleased track as an added bonus for the fans who have already religiously purchased the featured hits in one way or another. Despite this, 'Best Of Belinda' is an incredible compendium of one particular Californian woman's journey through the often soul wrenching terrain of pop....
