Advantages: A great buy for a lover of the film
Disadvantages: after listening to it, the film somehow loses it's edge

...Some of the songs on this CD really bring back memories of some of the more moving section in the film, most notably "Duettino - Sull'Aria". This would be a great CD for anyone who enjoyed the film to any sort of extensive degree. The CD contains both original music composed for the film and famous songs by the Inkspots, Hank Williams and the aformentioned Sull'aria (from "The Marriage of Figaro") stung together in order they are heard throughout the film. I think this really adds to the feeling of the CD, when you listen to it all the way through it really is reminicent of the first time you watched The Shawshank Redemption, and this (presumably for anyone wanting to buy it) is a very good thing :D... ...Amazing album - Robbie williams at his best, can this man do no wrong. Rob's voice is getting stronger and from the pics on the cover he is looking HOT. Favourite track Me and my monkey. Worst track how peculiar Take a trip with your emotions and robbies, this album will make you look deep, from the loneliness of feel, the distruction of come undone and the general confussion that is life. It made me laugh and cry and it is music that relates to the ups and downs and how we all struggle to cope with what is thrown in our path. First heard this when i was all alone overseas, heard feel cried my eyes out and knew it was time to come home, every song on the album has made an impact on me, and you cant say that very often about modern music. Advantages: Having insomnia problems. She will put you to sleep
Disadvantages: Sometimes sleep is not all that much of a good thing. Especially on a bike going at 150 mph

...of being a song of innocence. It’s about a little girl who is singing and dancing to her favourite song. It is penned by Norah's fiancé Lee so it is easy to assume that this is either a memory of his about a little girl who he saw singing a song, or it is a memory of Norah's that she shared with him and they have made a song out of it. Either way this doesn’t matter. This song is not a song you are meant to hold to memory. It is in a way like the little girl. Innocent, Singing to her favourite song and oblivious to the trials and dangers of the world. There will always be a little girl like to the one depicted in this song. Just like after you here this it will always be with you. It is a simple song with no real meaning. It will always be in some recess of your mind waiting to be brought up again.
