...Wow! After being such a big fan I was very eager to get the soundtarck which I was not dissappointed with at all. A fantastic piece of atmospheric music that manages to create the dark and futuristic feelings of them film with slight soundbites from the film - most notably on track 12 (Tears In Heaven) with the "I have seen things ..."speech which any Bladerunner fan knows probably off by heart! Vangelis produced something as special with the soundtrack as Ridley Scott created with the film. This is a must for any bladerunner fan.... Read review

...This an absolutely fantastic Cd full of great songs, really gets you dancing round the room with your air guitar whatever your age. There is songs on from most decades and a one all the family will enjoy from young children to the grand parent's (Even those hard to please teenager's). Some of the songs on here include the great title track school of rock and my personal favourite Growing on me by the darkness. It also includes the classic song Under Pressure by David Bowie. It makes me wish that I had a teacher like Jack Black as my music teacher when I was at school. ...Don't be fooled by the Pixar label - this score isn't just for a kids animation film. Some of Giacchino's greatest peices are on this CD. Packed with tense quiet moments and spectacular crashing chords, this score is as action packed as the movie and just as entertaining. The whole score has a jazzy feel, and unlike some scores, is exciting all the time. On a whole, this score has it all. Some smooth jazz, some intense strings, some clashing chords and an overall feel of suspence. You don't need to have seen the film to listen to this score, it stands alone as a brilliant peice of work. Hats off Giacchino, it's absolutly brilliant, I would most definitly reccommend this to anyone interested in jazz, classical or sountrack music.... Read review
