Review of Jimmy Eat World: Bleed American by Jordanriley

Advantages: The best album in the world, EVER
Disadvantages: Sometimes a bit difficult to get hold of

...of the album though are the more obscure tracks. Your house, Hear you me and Cautioners show Jimmy Eat World at their most sensitive and most gorgeous. With a voice stolen from an angel and givena little modern twist, Adkins soars and saunters around keys mere mortals would have thought impossible. Is he really this heartbroken or is he having a laugh while the public fall hook, line and sinker for his songs. One thinks that he means everything he says but nothing is out of the league of this band. Maybe that is half of the appeal. The ending is a little weak compared to the gems which make up the rest of the album. My sundown alone is a good track but it shrinks in comparison to the colossus which is the rest of the album. It sounds a little forced and over produced but it is stillgood. In fact it is still fucking brilliant but it is shrunk. I... Read review

The Futures Bright, The Futures Jimmy's
Review of Futures [ECD] - Jimmy Eat World by RazzaLazza

Advantages: Massively melodic and hugely energetic and entertaining music.
Disadvantages: I fail to think of any.

...Jimmy Eat World formed way back in 1993, however it was not until some years later that they'd become the household name that they are today. They started out small, releasing their first album in 1994 through Wooden Blue Records; it was aptly titled simply 'Jimmy Eat World'. Doesn't appear as though they were awfully creative in their early days then but there you go, they were shortly after snapped up by Capitol and in 1996 released their first album through them, 'Static Prevails'. 'Futures' was their fifth studio album and was released in the year 2004, it has to date sold over 607 000 copies in the U.S. alone and has therefore secured 'Gold' status. 'Pain' was the single chosen to lead this album and also released were the tracks 'Work' and 'Futures'. 'Futures' is perhaps the weakest of those chosen to be singles and proved... Read review

Texan great.
Review of One Step At A Time - George Strait by rockrebel

Advantages: Great country and western music
Disadvantages: None

...along at a nice pace and somewhat typically a country and western love song. In at two. You haven’t left me yet .(Dana Hunt, Kent. M. Robbins) This ones about a man who is going through a break up with his partner / wife but everywhere he turns in his home there are reminders of her. A sad song giving food for thought. The top spot. Neon Row. (Jimmy Jay, Donny Kees) Another sad song about a wayward woman searching for excitement but only being used by men along the way. I’ve listened to this song many times and it still makes me ponder.... Read review
