...The first time I heard this album was from my local library. (Still the original 'try before you buy' place folks!)- I immediately rushed out to my local record store and bought both versions of the key single from this album, all three times it was released!! If the mind numbing mediocrity of sickety slick mtv corporation r'n'b is beginning to drag you down, take heart and investigate this album immediately!! It's full of the good old fashioned type soul, fans and newcomers to this genre of music grew up with. The lyrical content is rich in meaning and context, and the instrumentation refreshingly natural and sample free.Des´ree is a teetolling vegetarian n all.
