...Paul McCartney used to be in The Beatles, who were known as The Fab Four, John, George, Paul and Ringo, after The Beatles split up in 1970 Paul started a solo career which was to be more commercially successful than the other three Beatles. His first solo hit was Another Day, he went on to have more hits before forming Wings with his wife Linda. They had great hits such as Band On The Run, Jet and Listen To What The Man Said, he wrote and sang some good songs, mostly with fellow Beatle John Lennon, and they were the two most talented artists ever. Paul's wife Linda died after a long battle with breast cancer. After a length of time mourning, Paul released Wode Prairie, which was a collection of music, his wife Linda recorded over the thirty years they had been together. A fantastic artist.... Read review

David LaFlamme, violin, vocals Linda LaFlamme, organ, piano, electric piano, celesta, harpsichord Hal Wagenet, guitar Mitchell Holman, bass Val Fuentes, drums Pattie Santos, vocals, tambourine, bells, block, gourd Bruce Steinberg, harmonica on "Hot Summer Day" It’s a beautiful day did not make many L P’s in this format as David and Linda split in 1970. David remarried another Linda . Advantages: Full of variety and superbly packaged
Disadvantages: Expensive - and really for the committed fan

...At first glance, this mammoth retrospective looks a trifle baffling. It's not a greatest hits set (Richard has never had a hit in his life, unless you include Fairport Convention's "Si Tu Dois Partir" which isn't included), not exactly a 'best of', but a motley collection of rarities, live performances, out-takes and a few gems from Fairport days, as well as a sprinkling of cuts from albums he recorded solo and with his then wife Linda. Only when you listen to it and study the carefully-compiled booklet (including a full illustrated biography and discography) does it all fit together. With 47 songs spanning the years 1969 to 1992, it's like a huge patchwork quilt, an encyclopedia, a record to dip into.
