I liked the Verve, so naturally when the split up again, I still wanted to by the music. Richard Ashcroft is a good artist, and with the Verve they produced some top singles. However, I was quite disappointed by this album. It seemed to depressing. There were a few good tracks like ‘Money to burn’ and ‘You on my mind in my sleep” is a good track. But other than that it’s fairly weak.
However, I thought it was too different. But, to Richard Ashcroft’s he’s tryng something different. But, I would prefer it if they were back together. THE VERVE RULE
I think the reason I may have been disappointed was because ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ was so good, along with a couple of other singles. If you want to but this music, by it without thinking it’s going to be another Verve related album, because it isn’t.
The track list on the CD: 1. A Song For The Lovers 2. I Get My Beat 3. Brave New World 4. New York 5. You On My Mind In My Sleep 6. Crazy World 7. On A Beach 8. Money To Burn 9. Slow Was My Heart 10. C'mon People (We're Making It Now) 11. Everybody
