Alone With Just My Dreams - Joe Wilder

Advantages: Brilliant album

...all of that together you get...green day. A song on this album that fits that description possibly more than any other on the album is track three, 'The grouch', never released as a single, surprisingly. 'I was a young boy who had big plans. Now I'm just another shitty old man'...an example of the fine lyrics of the grouch. Nice guys finish last is a medium track in tempo. This track also has brilliant lyrics. It has a particularly hummable beat. Hitching a ride is one of my favourites by green day. It starts of with just a violin, and then a catchy drum beat kicks in, and there are verses of just this, and then the song gets louder, faster and wilder, all building up to a grand finale finish. Another track of mention is redundant, which yes, is a good track, but I believe that it is over - rated, as it starts and ends the same... Read review

...Well while I’m waiting for Ciao to put up a section for another artist I requested, I noticed that there were no reviews for Joe’s fourth album entitled Better Days. So I thought I’d fill in the time by adding my own opinion. Now Joe is just one of those artists that you can listen to forever and never tire of. Well that’s the case for me especially with his last album. If you’re new to Joe and his style then the best of his works I could recommend to you would have to be on his third album (released a couple of years back now) My Name Is Joe. So before I get back to the point of reviewing his current album I’ll attempt to sum up Joe’s particular style of music just as a little introduction and background. Advantages: A fantastic listen for any learning guitarist
Disadvantages: THERE IS NO REAL ALBUM BY SATRIANI CALLED "GUITARS"

...on some of his albums, combined with instruments. An example of this is Flying in a Blue Dream. I would say that over all he is a very enjoyable artist to those who either have guitar appreciation or play guitar. And people who like the likes of Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson. The best thing is to go to www.satriani.com and look in the discography and listen to some of the sound clips there. To judge for your self. ADDED ON : There is no album called "guitars" , but as other reviews has put on the following tracks from another album, i will follow suit with my review of them ..... ( hummm, ) There for i shall pick the top ten songs that you should check out as introduction to Satch . 1.
