Alpha - Asia (Rock)

Advantages: Great music
Disadvantages: Can't take it out of my cd player

...What do you get if you combine Uria Heap,Roxy music,The Bugles,Emerson Lake and Palmer,Yes and King Crimson? You get a fantastic line-up and music of the quality you would expect from such an auspicious collection. Their various talents were combines to create the group Asia,who utilized their capabilities in producing two amazing albums.The first,Asia - Asia in 1992 and the second, Asia - Alpha in 1993. Although Asia went on to produce many more albums,the line up would change starting with Steve Howe quitting the band in 1985, to be replaced by Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer. Despite still being great albums, they never recaptured the magical touch they had created in their first bi-releases. Advantages: good quality you wont be disapointed

...the faders have done well. 2 songs released the third out soon. `no sleep tonight` is a soft rock track while `jump` is so catchy you cant get it out of your head. they have been on tour and have hit america. they are popular and have thousands of fans worldwide. their album has been realesed in asia but the uk version which is different to the asia verson is due out next year sometime. it is worth the wait you wont be dissapointed to hear molly, toy and cherisse bring you the very best of what they do. `plug in and play` has fast songs like `jump` and the bands personal favouite `whatever it takes` as well as more breath taking songs. i know i will be buying it when it comes out, you should too, you won't be disapointed so buy it! keep lovin the faders! ...Matchbox 20 are massive in the US and Asia. They have dominated airplay with four single releases in the States and continue touring to packed houses world wide. Their first album (yourself or someone like you) has rocked the world. the first four tracks are in driect competition for my favourite song of all time. The new album (MAD SEASON) released in late May, is different and it takes a little time to get used to, but its better with every listen. So, if you like bands like the goo goo dolls and good rock/pop? and i use the pop part loosely, tehn check out Matchbox 20. CDnow offer their try before you buy so give it a shot! you certainly won't be sorry!!!
