Alpha Nebula (The Prophecies) - Tisziji Munoz

...S.C.I.E.N.C.E, or Science for ease, was released in 1997 and is the second thing to be released by the boys. It's an amazing album which demonstrates the many sides of Incubus's talents. This, however, makes it incredibly hard to categorise the band into a particular genre of sound. Their influences appear very widespread, and range from the funk sound of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers bass lines, to huge metal riffs, mixed up with a bit of rap, maybe a small amount of hip-hop and some good sampling. Vocally, in my opinion, the album is highly individual due to the unusual voice of Brandond Boyd, singer with the band. What more could anyone want from a band? The name is very fitting for the album with songs such as 'Nebula' and 'Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song)', and is a theme threaded throughout the tracks - it's always nice... Read review

Advantages: Completely weird album

...because they made a music video for it, but it really didn’t become any sort of hit at all. Favorite Things-This song is for the ones who loves doing things that other people hates. Very cool guitar looping. Summer Romance(Anti-Gravity Love Song)- This one the a slowest and the most radio friendly among the songs This song is very catchy and can make you dance with your girlfiriend. Nebula-is a song that makes you feel floating in outerspace which provides some fast rap, then it slows down, then speeds up again. Deep Inside- is a song with a touch of jazz and hardcore rock. It blew my ears off. It has a real heavy transition of guitat beats that enhance the sound quality. Calgone- This song is about someone who is being Kidnap by alien beings. Advantages: Very diversed kind of sound.
Disadvantages: Lack of depth

...I decided to write a reviews on one of my favourite bands Incubus, starting with their second album. I like them so much because there is a lot of music diversity in their albun from rap to rock to jazzz.This album is one of the most enjoyable listens I have in my CD collection. Track Listing: 1.
