Wrestling weirdo's
Review of Rising - Stuck Mojo by
Dilan_Spike
Advantages: some very good songs
Disadvantages: some terrible songs, novelty were off
...Stuck Mojo... well to be honest their music is like non i've really heard before and their concerts are even more strange. Rising is in my opinion their best album, when i first heard i loved it but the novelty soon wore off. mojo's sound is that of rap metal, nothing like Rage against the machine or Hed pe however, combined with the chunky riffs and fast drum beat there is a definate case of Southern American drool. Based in Atlanta (close friends of Sevendust by the way) these boys have won best Atlanta band two years in a row.
Wrestling mad mojo play their concerts in a ring and tend to fight whilst they play, their music style is very fast and attractive when first heard. However many of the songs sound dangerously the same and the further you go into the album the worse the songs become until you cannot bear to listen to anymore...

Recycled Metal
Review of Sickness, The - Disturbed by
deafpanda
Advantages: Some good guitars
Disadvantages: Lyrics, substandard vocals
...Disturbed – Down With The Sickness
Disturbed are one of a number of new bands taking the KoRn idea of popular metal and cashing in, in their own way, on the commercialization of metal. This new genre, nu-metal, is quickly becoming more and more popular, especially in the 14-20 age range. Disturbed are another one of these clean-shaven bands (why the hell do they all look the same?!) who draw inspiration from bands such as Machine Head, Metallica etc. In fact, they list their influences & favourite bands as:
KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Tool, Machine Head, Sevendust, Slipknot, Pantera, Static-X, Fear Factory, RATM, Incubus, Type 0 Negative, Ultraspank, Black Sabbath, Soulfly, Rob Zombie, Staind, Deftones, Drain S.T.H and Snot.
Notice that all but 2 or 3 of these bands are less than 5 years old? Disturbed are the first nu-metal band...

Forceable Entry Rocks!
Review of WWF - Forceable Entry - Various Artists by
Rhynoone
Advantages: Aggressive Tunes From a Variety of Great Artists...
Disadvantages: A Couple of Tracks That Arn't Quite To My Taste...
...that it puts me off listening to it.
OUR LADY PEACE - WHATEVER - I had never heard of Our Lady Peace before the release of this album, but I was really impressed with this track. It is not as heavy as some of the others but it\'s great none the less.
ROB ZOMBIE - NEVER GONNA STOP (REMIX) - Love it! This is a great Zombie track.
BREAKING POINT - ONE OF A KIND - I love the chorus on this song; another little aggressive gem that fits in well on the album.
MARILYN MANSON - BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (REMIX) - Love this song and was very glad that it featured on the album.
THE UNION UNDERGROUND - ACROSS THE NATION - Quite funky and is the kinda track you\'d want at a party!
SEVENDUST - BREAK THE WALLS - Awsome song.. heavy riffs and real aggressive tunage! Small exerts from WWF commentry on the track make it even stronger!
SALIVA - TURN THE TABLES - This track...
