Advantages: everything about this album is perfect Disadvantages: you'll waste your whole day listening to him
Overview
This album is his lastest release up to date. Compared to his previous album, "In between dreams", I personally prefer the previous one. This does not mean that "Sleep through the static" is not good. In fact, as usual, it is another great album to those who are into Jack Johnson's style or even if you've never listened to him, you'll sure will love it.
Music Style
Compared to all of his previous albums, "Sleep through the static" uses the electric sound for many of the songs instead of acoustic. However, the Jack Johnson's style is transfered briliantly into the electric guitar, still the simple strumming with creative rhythms and melodies, still the laid-back kind of voice, this album has everything about Jack Johnson.
Throughout the album, there is no up-beat tracks. That's maybe the reason I prefer his ...
Advantages: good sound nice to look at Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound
Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British ...

Advantages: Pockets in Hood, Suitable from birth, Easy to steer, Lightweight, Shopping basket Disadvantages: Does not sit bolt upright.
I bought this stroller from Babies R Us in December 2005. At the time I needed a lightweight stroller due to my 6 month old daughter having grown out of her travel system car seat and the Graco buggy being too heavy to drag in and out of the boot every day during the school run.
Whilst in Babies R Us we saw the Bruin Alpine Stroller. Its style appealed to me and I was even more impressed when I saw the price.
HOW MUCH?
It was originally £69.99 but this particular day it had £10 off so was £59.99 and we also had a voucher for £5 off any stroller over £30 so the final price was £54.99. Bargain.
CAN YOU BUY IT ONLINE?
Yes you can buy it online from the Babies R Us website. If you go to babiesrus.co.uk go to travel, then find pushchairs and on page 2 you should find the Alpine. You can also order it via their catalogue through ...

Album Notes
Kinski: Matthew Reid-Schwartz (guitar, flute, piano); Chris Martin (guitar); Lucy Atkinson (bass instrument); Barrett Wilke (drums). Recording information: Avast Studios, Seattle, Washington; Studio Litho, Seattle, Washington. On Kinski's second full-length Sub Pop album, the Seattle quartet refines its instrumental post-rock attack. While the influence of both Sonic Youth and Black Sabbath is still apparent, elements of Krautrock, ambient, and experimental music are more prominent than on past releases. The opener, "Hot Stenographer," is a rocked-out tune that melds Sabbath-like guitar lines with minimalist repetition, while "All Your Kids Have Turned to Static" is an eerie, atmospheric track that recalls the mellower aspects of Mogwai in both sound and its quirky title. The disc's most arresting moments--"The Wives of Artie Shaw" and "The Party Which You Know Will Be Heavy"--feature urgent, soar-and-dive guitar pyrotechnics, courtesy of Matthew Reid-Schwartz and Chris Martin (not to be confused with the Coldplay frontman). A restless and dynamic record, 2005's ALPINE STATIC reveals a band playing to its strengths and crafting, in the process, a punchy, engaging album.
Album Reviews
Mojo (p.108) - 3 stars out of 5 - "Kinski's heavy psych credentials are impeccable....The quartet's music is exhilarating, unpredictable and occasionally off-the-map."
