...I first came across the blackout a long while ago, through a friend. I loved them from the word go and after first buying the previous album ''The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout!'' in early 2007 i was hooked quite quickly on this album and i wasn't dissapointed when they released this album ''We are the Dynamite'' in late 2007.

****Story line****
Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) is a typical teenage misfit. Because of his geeky appearance and dress sense, eccentric behaviour, love for weird things and fabricating his life style Napoleon is the least popular boy at school. Napoleon?s weird ways are hardly surprising given his home life. Napoleon lives with his (even more eccentric) grandmother (Sandy Martin) and his older brother Kip (Aaron Ruell), who is a bit simple and looking for love on the internet.
Naploeon?s grandma suffers a freak accident and Uncle Rico (Jon Gries) arrives to look after the two brothers. With Rico?s general outlook on life and his ?get rich quick? schemes his visit turns out to be anything but boring...

Advantages: Feels fresh, occasional flashes of humor. Disadvantages: Characters unlikable, situation just isn't funny.
...Napoleon Dynamite rides into to the UK with the kind of success story that so many films try for, and never achieve. A small indie film made on a modest budget, the film, largely thanks to a lacklustre studio season, has pushed itself into the mainstream. A film like this rarely reaches such a wide audience, and so with Garden State (following in november), we have this years pair of cool indie films.
At least that's the theory. Napoleon Dynamite so desperately wants to be cool. It tries so hard by being so uncool that it should kind of loop back around again in coolness and become a cult favorite. The problem is that cult films cannot be created. They have to occur naturally. Anyone trying to make their film a cult one is almost certainly destined for failure.
