Alright - Longitude

...It's more than alright, its great! It's one of the best debut albums in my collection and it shows a great deal of potential for the albums that followed. There are some quite strange songs lyrically, such as Strange Ones, and I'd Like to Know. Alright is my no means the best song on the album, but it certainly helped with sales! She's So Loose is one of my favourites. Throughout the album the music is consistantly brilliant, with fantastic drumming from Danny Goffey, bass by Mick and Gaz Coombes singing and playing guitar. ...In every sense this album is more than alright. Alright is the single that everyone will know, the jaunty sing along that was 1 of the summer hits from 1995, however whilst excellant this is not completely representative of the album as a whole which his a much rougher edge. From the crashing drums of the opening "I'd like to know" to the closing fadeout of "time to go" supergrass have produced an excellent debut. The singles including "Lenny" and "mansize Rooster" are obvious highpoints but there isn't a duff track on the album. Gaz and the boys haven't managed to beat the adreneleine rush of this yet, but here's hoping for lots to come... Read review

...This album is not as good as his other album TP.3 Reloaded. This songs are hear are a little weak and they are weak because of the lyrics and some of the beats are also weak. He has a alright song that was the single called "same girl" with usher. That song is alright. He has 18 songs on his album and out of all the songs there are only 4 that is alright. He has a song called "I'm a flirt" with t.i. and t-pain and the song is ok. He has another song on the album called "rise up" and that is a good song because he is saying that no matter what you go through you got to stand tall you got to stay strong. He has a song with ludacris and kid rock and the name of it is "rock star", that song is good. But other than those songs the album is weak.... Read review
