Alright OK You Win - Wild Bill Davis

Advantages: Reinvigorated Davis, awesomely funky, with a superb band.
Disadvantages: You're kidding right?

.... An illustration of Johnson, in a fast car with (presumably) fast women in the back seats. Originally Davis' name sat below that of Johnson, so other than the fact he hated the cover and his billing, Miles loved it. Inside are new notes on the recording of the album. Very interesting, humourous, and far more entertaining than my review, and they sit between the covers and the original reverse of the 1970 vinyl release. It's good. For £7.99 it's great. Nicely designed, but letting the music on the disc do the talking. For more pounds, you can grab the super heavyweight 5 disc edition that contains all of the 'Jack Johnson' sessions. ...of transport 13.Davy the fat boy Tells of how a fat boys parents leave him in the good hands of his friend after they pass on. He promptly puts him in a Circus! Funny and sad at the same time and again probably non-PC now. 14.Lonely at the top A tongue in cheek song to end with as Randy takes the mickey out of himself and his approach to fame. Overall a great album if you are a fan and a good starting point if you are not. Randy has also has had some success writing Film Scores (Toy Story, Maverick, Monsters Inc, The Three Amigos) to name but a few. He cracked me up at the Academy Awards when on finally winning at the 9th time of being nominated, for the song "If I didn't have you" from Monsters Inc, he started his speech with.. "I want to thank first of all the music branch for giving me so many chances to be humiliated over the years... Read review

...is still doing live concerts and performed an acoustic concert in Belfast last year. My friend went to it and said it was great but that Ray unfortunately looked a bit rough on it. Still I guess we cant all look good for our age like myself In fact I think I admire the guy that much that I am going to phone up Matthew Kelly from the show “Stars in their Eyes”, and yes “ Tonight Matthew, Art is going to be Ray Davies from The Kinks”. Yep I am going to go on that show because I know I could easily win it. So would you lot vote for me?? Anyway if you haven’t heard of Ray Davies I can only compare him to John Lennon.
