Advantages: Very thoughtful Lyrics Disadvantages: None
...the atmosphere of an evening in Rome.
Parla Piu Piano - Meaning Speak softer. This is quite a soft song, not really one of my favourites but it is still a good song. This was also taken from the film 'The Godfather'
Na Sera E Maggio - Meaning An Evening in May. A very beautiful and slow song, completely in Italian but I assume it describes an evening in May.
Soli - Meaning Alone. This songs describes the days when you sit in with a partner having a lazy day together.
A man without Love - comes in 2 versions, English and Italian. This is one of my favourite songs, describing the feelings of a man without Love. I think it does a really good job of describing loneliness, and it something lots of people could relate to.
AltaMarea - Meaning High Pressure. Italian version of 'Don't dream its over' by Crowded House. Another one of my favourites...

Advantages: An album which found them anticipating trends; a partial change of direction which worked Disadvantages: On the whole, not the Stones you may know and love
..., and the Bee Gees made that astonishing comeback with 'Jive Talkin'', a song which Mick Jagger was played as a demo pre-release without being told who it was, and praised as amazing.
Only two tracks on the album really conform to the swaggering Stones groove of their classic late 60s and early 70s days. 'Hand of Fate' and 'Crazy Mama' have Mick at his swaggering best, Keith really cookin' on guitar, and at the risk of sounding old-fashioned, they're still my favourite tracks, mainly for that very reason. The funky 'Hot Stuff' and 'Hey Negrita' may smack of bandwagon-jumping, and the songs aren't really anything...

Advantages: No bad songs, brilliant reminder of the film and everthing that goes with it Disadvantages: Two brilliant songs are missing
...to through the summer. It is a great reminder of everything fun about summer holidaying, relaxing and cruising. Sugar Ray come up with another rocking tune in the form of Glory and Third Eye Blind start the soundtrack off with the quality New Girl and that’s the way it goes on.
The thing that surprised me most about this soundtrack though, is the exclusion of probably the best two songs from the film. I don't know why they did not make it to the American Pie soundtrack but it worked out well for the two bands as it made me buy both of their albums. These brilliant songs and bands are Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger and One Week by Barenaked Ladies. I definitely recommend that you buy both Harvey Danger's album - 'Where have all the merrymakers gone' and Barenaked Ladies' album - 'Stunt' as both are as amazing as the American Pie...
