...Ok so I don't care who you are you cannot deny Christina Aguilera can sing! Penned as the Britney Spears wannabe she has left that "comparison" behind. No longer a Genie in a bottle and leaving her Dirrty image at the altar Christina has written and produced here a great album. A 2 cd set, "back to basics" is a tale of 2 halves, cd 1 is what we've come to expect from Christina, great pop, great production. Highlights: 2.: Makes Me Wanna Pray 6.: Slow Down Baby Low points 13.: Thank You (Dedication To Fans) A bit Sickly! cd2 is the obvious winner although lyrically it doesnt really tell us anything about Christinas life that we dont already know, it has an appeal that pulls you in. my favourite songs of the set are on this CD 7.: Mercy On Me - a powerful, gutsy song that brings the best out of her voice 8.: Save Me... ...Slayer Reign In Blood!!! Thought as by many as the greatest and most influencial Thrash / Speed Metal Ever Created. And what makes me surprised is that people are still saying this today and its nearly 20 years since this cd was first produced, this cd has been manufactured by a lot of cd companies and still in thjis day and age of the year 2005 its still going strong thanks to the likes of the songs: Angel of Death Piece by Piece Necrophobic Altar Of Sacrifice Jesus Saves Criminally Insane Reborn Epidemic Postmortem and last but definatly not least. Raining Blood If you are fortunate to have the EXPANDED EDITION however you are privilaeged to have two more great tracks: Aggressive Perfector and a remix of Criminally Insane The band were accused as a bunch of Nazis by various people, but with such awsaopme lyrics suchs as Auchwitz...
