Advantages: usual quality guitars and drums Disadvantages: lyrics, vocals and cohesion lacking
...Being a long time fan of not only this genre, but of MorbidAngel, whom I have felt to be the best in the business for many years and really, the mother of death metal.
If you know anything about morbidangel, they do them alphbetically, so obviously we are up to 'H' which means it is their 8th album.
This is also the 3rd album with Steve Tucker playing bass and singing.
I really hate to say this, but since David Vincent left and Steve tucker started there has been a steady decline in the quality. It just appears to lack something both lyrically and presence.

...It's really hard to write about Cd when all you can say it's: f****ing great CD.
I will try anyway :)
MorbidAngel is very know death metal band with it's own style.
It's a four'th CD of them and It's my favourite.
it's slime-ridden guitar mastery and a great percusion technique.
On that Cd band become an ever-expanding organic machine, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for evolution and driven by an unstoppable will.
The opening song "Dominate" is puting you into chair and you cannot move it's so exciting and powerfull and really "angry" song (really really fast).
After that there's "where the slime live" - the best one ever, quite slow with outstanding solo guitar, remorable forever.
There's also song called cesar palace which has god that specific sound and structure of song.
Cover is good , showing what you can expect inside...

Advantages: Not bad.... Disadvantages: Not that good either...

The songs that you will have heard of on this album are slightly moodier ones such as Cardiac Arrest, and Shut Up. The album isn't crammed with classic Madness hits but then not everything they make can be fantastic.
If you are a Madness fan then it's worth buying this one, if you're a casual kind of fan then stay clear, you might regret spending your money on it. It is however part of the special box set called The Lot which include the original 6 albums from Madness from 1979 to 1985....
