The general plot behind the game is that you start at a small music venue and then have to work round larger venues. In each level you have to catch various icons which drop from the top of the screen, and this is what keeps you in time with the music. Working through this story mode allows to unlock more levels in the game.
The touch screen controls are not the most accurate, and sometimes you miss a icon at the base of the screen.
