While some of the above groups might be credited with breathing new life into the genre of girl-groups, it was Eternal who set the ball rolling in the early 90s, paving the way for some of the best known acts of the decade. When Eternal entered the charts for the first time in late 1993, the boy band phenomenon was well under way, with Take That and East 17 fighting for supremacy. ...Always and Forever is the original Eternal from 1993, released a while before Louise left the group for that footy player. In my opinion, they were better as four.
I first layed hands on this album when I, um, borrowed it from my brother. I liked bopping around to it so I decided to pinch it for myself. He didn't care cause he got it free anyway, and he's an indie bloke.
It's got a distinctly poppy feel to it, with a touch of R&B. Definitely good for a dance.
Thirteen tracks, and the bonus 14th, a gospel version of the well known hymn, 'Amazing Grace'. It's basically a love song album, apart from the last.
This album doesn't especially stand out in my collection, but all round, it's okay....

Advantages: A lot of tracks but very few new ones Disadvantages: Not perfection
...most successful album to date, 'Exclusive: The Forever Edition'.
Should we take that to mean Chris Brown is staying around forever?
Whilst his self-titled debut album, 'Chris Brown', topped the 3 million sales mark in a couple of years -- a remarkable achievement for such a young artist -- 'Exclusive' has nearly equalled that record in a matter of months. A dancing ability worthy of comparisons surpassing Michael Jackson, we are still waiting on that song that changes him from just a background artist to someone with the well-rounded popularity of a Justin Timberlake. Lets see how the now dated tracks hold up on this re-release, as well as what improvements have been made to those thinking of picking up the album with new artwork.
