'AmazingGrace' by Spiritualized. Is it, like some of its fellow overlooked LPs, dying on the musical vine, in the shadow of ' Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space'. The LP that made Spiritualized a name to be remembered and reckoned with. Jason and his band of soul searching villains have, since then, released a few LPs, as well as a greatest hits / obscurities compilation, which was all very well, and a 'Live @ The Royal Albert Hall' LP, they released 'Let It Come Down'.
It was a great LP that subtly strayed from a tried and tested formula, involving an almost domineering keyboard sound, with Jason singing his heart out about the trials and tribulations of getting to a better place through the crap thrown your way after all the bad choices you've made...
Trouble is that on both 'Let It Come Down' and to some respects ...
Advantages: Light, pretty and not overly expensive. Disadvantages: The scent can wear off quite quickly.
Philosophy products are amazing and I doubt anyone would disagree, although expensive they smell incredible and do exactly what they're meant to.
AmazingGrace has been a favourite scent of mine for a while, ever since I tried the body lotion. My boyfriend suprised me with the perfume and I was hooked.
It is the ultimate, english rose, sunny day out in the park kinda scent. Light and breezy with just enough floral notes to make people ask what you're wearing. It smells like you're walking through a field of flowers without being disgustingly sweet. In short it is perfect. Also ideal if like me, you dont want to smell like every other woman sauntering down the high street!
The bottle is also conveniently small enough to slip into your handbag should you need a top up throughout the day! ...
