Advantages: Not a bad track on the album Disadvantages: None
...rising!". He repeats this faster and faster until the song is back to its original tempo.
L'America
Steady rock beat. Song is about early trade between the Spaniards and the native peoples of SouthAmerica. Before the Conquistadors did the dirty and stole the gold!
Hyacinth House
An altogether quieter and more melodic affair. Driven by keyboards as opposed to guitars. Not entirely sure what the Hyacinth House is. Why do they have lions there?
Crawling King Snake.
John Lee Hooker's blues number. Given the Doors' treatment. Fleshed out with keyboards and guitars, it's far fuller than Hooker's original and Morrison's voice is so suited to the blues.

Advantages: Just Great Music from a Great Band Disadvantages: None
...This is a great album. If you like a lot of Texas songs but not all then this is the album for you because it is just the very best songs they have ever made. It includes the very latest from the band - In demand and Inner Smile but also has songs from older albums like - Halo and Say What You Want. This truly is the bands greatest hits and if you like Texas you willlove this album. The tracks are all excellent so you won't need to skip to one you like. It is music at its best....

Advantages: Great vocals, mellow music Disadvantages: lack of divserity
...My wife is fromSouthAmerica and we both like Spanish/SouthAmericamusic, so we thought we'd try this CD out.
The voices are beautiful. Well polished and they harmonise together very well, moving through their ranges with a sublime smoothness.
This CD is great as background music. It doesn't ask your ear to give it full attention, but drifts mellow, relaxing sounds to you across an evenly paced albumn which has loads of quality but little diversity. You would be forgiven for not realising that one track has given way to the next at times.
It's more smooth Spanish than sexy SouthAmerica and more ballad than salsa. Overall it's a new sound and one your ears will thank for listening to....
