Before anybody reads and rates this review, I want to stress that this review is for The Red Road album by Bill Miller, and not the live recording. Unfortunately The Red Road was not available to review so this had to suffice. With that being said on with the review. Bill Miller is a nativeAmerican singer/song writer of some excellence. Born in 1955 his native name is Fush-Ya Heay Aka, meaning bird song. He is from the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican tribe. On February 13th 2005 Bill won a Grammy for best nativeAmericanmusic, a fitting accolade showing his tenacity and skill for producing quality music recordings. Bill currently has 15 albums under is belt and The Red Road is his sixth album and follows the Reservation Road- live album.

Amistad Review ofAmistad - Original Soundtrackby
berlioz
Advantages: Not bad Disadvantages: Not special
...was asked to compose music, as he had done for all other Spielberg movies since 1974. The score, however, though it is by far not bad, lacks something to make it great. Your children come back to you. We have come home" and it is sung completely in an African language, but the rest of the material is somewhat uninteresting and Adams' theme is very bland, being too much like other "patriotic" Americanmusic with its trumpet sounds.
There are a number of soloists contributing here: most importantly the mezzo Pamela Dillard, usually singing in connection with Cinque, the trumpetist Tim Morrison associated with the lawyer Adams, and Jim Walker (flute) and Jim Thatcher...

Advantages: fantastic music Disadvantages: Very rare recording, Very expensive

He assembled a group of other young and enthusiastic musicians including Christopher Hogwood and Philip Picket. These are names that you may have come across.
This disc is played by The New London Consort...
