Advantages: Some great classic listening!
Disadvantages: Brings back sad memories!

...Being a big fan of Rock Ballads, as soon as I heard this advertised I rushed out to buy, I even paid £15.99 at HMV for it, although I am sure you could buy cheaper elsewhere for instance play.com, Amazon.co.uk to name but a few, but I just couldn’t be bothered to shop around and I wanted to hear sooner rather than later. Power Ballads is a double CD compilation of 39 tracks by various artists. Ballads spanning over several decades (70’s, 80’s 90’s and 00’s) brought together on 2 fantastic CD’s by Virgin Music Group Ltd. Advantages: Different moods to relate to; some relaxing; some upbeat and lift your spirits
Disadvantages: I only have it on tape

...Call me old fashioned but I only own this on tape. I absolutely adore it; I love American Indian music and chants. It's so therapeutic and relaxing but with fantastic beat and rhythm with a variety of instruments. My tape hasa simple picture of an American Indian on the front in black and white (as the one Caio has provided). I don't know the price but for a tape, you could probably find it for 5p online and then just pay P & P. Each 'side' of my tape is 25 mins long and composed of 5 songs each. There is American Indian chanting scattered about some of the songs but mainly it's music. Some are fast and some are slow. It is very hard to review this. The tempo is maintained by varying degrees of drum beats, flutes, panpipes and other instruments that I cannot identify. Each song seems to tell as story. The upbeat ones are... Read review

Advantages: really good collection of favourites and classic oldies
Disadvantages: none that i have found

...Fantastic classic power ballad music, something to tempt everyone and tantalise all. included in the album are some real favourites from various iconic artists a real must have. I love it. This is another fabulous follow up to previous power ballad albums all along the same fantastic collections of classics and memorable hits all mixed up to reveal a wonderful collection. It goes well in any cd player , but its best played in the car on any journey real music to drive to and sing along with no-one will know go on go for it.
