Advantages: creamy, rich, strong flavour Disadvantages: not too healthy!
I hadn't set out to try any of the yoghurts in the Müller Amore range, but when I read a mouth-watering review about the Vanilla and Dark Chocolate Flake option, it sounded so scrumptious that I just couldn't help myself.
The Amore yoghurts come in a lower pot than most, but still have a good depth to them. This particular pot is a deep blue shade, very attractive and more sophisticated than the traditional white plastics. On the lid you'll notice an image of what the yoghurt is suggested to look like. If it did look the same, it was a good start.
As I peeled back the lid, which was a little tougher than I had expected, I peered into the pot. It was full to the brim, and it indeed did look as suggested. The thick, fresh white yoghurt was filled with lots of little dark brown specks, better known as the chocolate flakes. They seemed ...
Advantages: delicious, on offer, popular brand Disadvantages: not too healthy, a little pricey compared

It was much lighter than I had imagined; usually cherry yoghurts are a much darker shade of pink, if not red.
The yoghurt certainly looked ...
Advantages: Great food, reasonable fixed price menu Disadvantages: None
On our recent trip to the Loire Valley Mr Tart and myself arrived in Tours quite late on our first night. We drove down to Tours from Paris. We were going to stop for something to eat on the way but in the end decided to make our way straight to Tours and get settled in the hotel and then find something close by. A couple of minutes from our hotel we came across this place and were really glad that we did.
LOCATION:
La Chope is located at 25 Avenue Grammont. Our hotel was on the same road so we just came across it. It is about a ten minute walk from Tours? old town. The restaurant doesn?t stand out and the sign is not particularly bright so make sure you look out for it.
THE EXPERIENCE:
La Chope (which apparently translates as the tankard) is actually a fish restaurant. I?m not really a fish person (ok, that ...
