Cannot believe it I started drinking before 4pm yesterday afternoon at my cousin's, was still drinking after midnight and no sign of a hangover this morning! 1 week till Pavorotti.

Well what can I say. I was listening to the radio on the way to work the other week, when I heard left outside alone, I immediately thought this has got to be anastacia as she has such a unique voice. I was right so the first chance I got I was out to buy the album as I thought even if I only liked this song I felt it would be worth it. So I was in Sainsbury's and noticed it was on sale it was chucked straight in to the basket and I have played it to death ever since.
I absolutely love every song on the album and it is excellent value for money at just £9.79
The very first time I heard her voice I was smitten and I got her album freak of nature for christmas.
This album has no fancy titles it's just called anastacia but then I don't think that it actually needs one.
Every one of the songs is sung ewith such emotion that on sonme songs I find myself close to blubbering. I think that a lot of the songs are based on her experiences that she has been through over the last few years, especially her battling breast cancer she is a fantastically strong woman to come through the other end and as for her talent I think it's amazing and I am very jealous especially of her voice.
The songs
1. Seasons change- very strong yet mellow song.
2. Left outside alone- This is one of my favourite tracks, This definately sounds like a break up song.
3.Time- Another fantastic track and very catchy.
4.Sick and tired. To me this is the song I would say is most associated with her cancer battle.
5.Heavy on my heart - This one always as me close to tears very emotional.
6.I do Good strong vocals on this one sing at the top of my voice to this.
7.Welcome to my truth- This one seems to be about her still being able to love. Great lyrics.
8.Pretty little dum dum- This the advice to friend song dump your bloke he's no good!
9.Sexy single - I love this song it's very catchy and will get in your head when you least expect it, It's great being single in this song.
10. Rear view- This is a looking back on life, love and moving on song.
11. Where do I belong- Doesn't need much of an explanation self explanatory fantastic emotion in this one.
12. Maybe today this song is focused on being free and happy, maybe that's why it's the last song because she's ending the end of her struggle.
This C D lives in my car and get's played to death on the journey to and from work, It's so great I really have trouble turning it off I find myself aimlessly sitting there in another world till I come back to reality. I'm sure I scare fellow drivers as this is not an album I can sing to quietly and I complety drown Anastacia out.
It's a C D for all tastes even if you are not a great fan (like my fiance )you will find yourself singing along to it and drifting in to another planet. It's definately worth a listen.

Anastacia is so talented and has a unique voice and music style which makes a refreshing change to most of the crap in the charts at the moment. : )

I'm not fond of Anastacia's style of music (though she has an amazing voice and I admire her personal strength) but my boyfriend loves it so I shall be recommending this one to him!
