Full review
I’m a fairly new member here but decided it was time for me to take the plunge and write a proper review. I’m a real music buff and love all types of music from R ‘N’ B to Rock, Pop to Indie. It really doesn’t bother me, I love it all. Just recently I bought Anastacia’s new album. It’s her third one and I really think its her best so far.

Season Change (4.17)
*************************

The first track has a good tempo to it. It’s relatively quick and her vocals sound truly amazing. The lyrics are quite good and are quite easy to listen to. The music is good with a the drum backing her vocals quite well. The track has quite a rock feel to it rather than pop and it serves as a good opening to the album.

Left Outside Alone (4.17)
***************************

This was the first song I heard from this album and how I realised she had a new album out. It is a much slower song than the first one and the start sounds a bit like Evanescence. Her vocals sound truly amazing reaching quite high notes and really doing it well. The drums give quite a funky backing track, complimenting her vocals quite well. I would say this was my favourite on this album.

Time (3.33)
*************

A slower track that is more of a Ballad than the last few tracks. The vocals start at quite a slow pace. Staying quiet till the chorus where she picks up a tad. I love the sound of her vocals on this track and although quite a slow song its easy to listen to. I really like it and admire her lyrical abilities.

Sick And Tired (3.30)
******************

My friends all think this is the best track on the album and although I think its good I don’t agree. It’s another ballardey type of track and her vocals aren’t really tested on it. The slow pace of the track really suit’s the type of song it is and the drums keep time really well.

Heavy On My Heart (4.26)
****************************

As the album progresses the Ballads seem to be getting slower. This one is quite amazing as she stretches her vocals really well. The slow guitar really sets a nice feeling to the song and works well with her vocals. Again this is another example of her amazing lyric ability as this is a really well written track. It really touches you as you listen to it.

I Do (3.04)
*************

This is a much heavier track and features a member of rock outfit POD on guest vocals. This shows that it’ll be a bit heavier from the start. The drums are really prominent and at times drown out her amazing voice but it still sounds a great track. The guest vocals of Sonny really give the track a good edge. This rock style really suits her.

Welcome To My Truth (4.03)
*************************

This returns the album to the Ballad sound it seemed to be striving for before “I Do”. The verse is quite slow and thoughtful, while the chorus is a lot different with guitars and drums giving it an edgier sound than perhaps it might have had. This is a really good song.

Pretty Little Dum Dum (4.37)
*******************************

This is one of my least favourite tracks on the album. It’s keeping with the slow vibe but the vocals just don’t reach me in the same way the last few tracks have. Although it’s quite a good musical track there seems to be a little something lacking from the vocals. One that I can listen to one time but skip the next.

Sexy Single (3.52)
********************

I feel that this song takes the album in another direction again. It has a hint of Pop princess about it, which don’t get me wrong isn’t a bad thing but isn’t in-keeping with the rest of the album. It’s quite likely you will find yourself singing and humming along. The overall vibe of the song is easy going and the tempo is quite fast and enjoyable.

Rearview (4.13)
*****************

Another slow tempo song with her vocals really standing out at the beginning. I think this sounds fantastic with a nice verse and then the more rock driven chorus where the guitars and drums take over from her vocals. This is where I feel the different approaches to each track has worked best giving the album a good overall sound.

Where Do I Belong (3.26)
****************************

A much more soulful number that really touches you deep inside. A lot of this album is made of solid, well written ballads and this is another prime example. Again the mellower verse gives way for a rock chorus. The lyrics are superb and the song to me sounds absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best tracks to hear the vocal potential she has.

Maybe Today (5.15)
**********************

The last song on the album is a very mellow one. It has a fantastic piano loop, which carries on well into the song. It gives the song an acoustic feel and really compliments her vocals well. This is another well written track that finishes off the album perfectly.

I really like this album and although I wasn’t too keen on Pretty Little Dum Dum I thought it is probably her best album so far. She has an amazing g voice and if you have liked the singles then I would say buy this album. You can buy it for £8.99 from amazon.

Thanks for reading my first proper review
