Advantages: Eleven of them Disadvantages: Hardly any
...But before it does, some facts about The Flaming Lips.
They have been around for 20 years or more, making them "far too old" for this rock business.
Mainman Wayne Coyne has a very large head. He needs it for playing and singing on, and writing the lyrics for, CDs such as this and The Soft Bulletin, their 1999 effort, which is another classic (allegedly, theediscerning hasn't caught up with it yet.) Wayne also directs their videos.
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is co-produced by Dave Fridmann, who is well known (ish) for making Mercury Rev sound so angelic and orchestral.
The Flaming Lips live have been known to feature more people dressed in silly animal costumes than a whole series of Trigger Happy TV.

Advantages: 22 top notch tracks Disadvantages: none
...Unbelievable! wot an album, not one bad song, and with 22 tracks thats not something many albums can boast about achieving. The stand out tracks have to be Next Episode, Whats the Difference, still dre. It has a star studded aray of superstars featured. Dr Dre is a lyrical genius and his producing skills are second to none. This album is a must buy for anyone who likes good music. It made me go out and buy the whole back catalogue of his music. 2001 was so good that I didn't even bother listening to the back catalogue before I bought them because I knew if they were half as good as 2001 they would still be superb...

I mean well we have had Boyzone, Take That etc. so well you couldn't expect too much because they are just another manufactured robot group. But when it got to their 7th single going to number 1 I simply felt sick to the stomach. Little squealing girls who faint at the thought of a fake tanned, make-up smothered, non-talent group had done it 7 times and now it is 8 they had bought enough to make them Number 1 so many times.
Let's think of it as pros and cons situation. Well, I am can't think of any pros at the moment so let's delve straight into the cons. Well they have no talent is as good a place to start as any, they were put together...
