...Great album with all the classic Sister Sledge tracks...It really is a party album that is guarenteed to get any occassion swinging! They really were at the heart of disco in the late nighties early eighties and it brought back all the school disco memories i would highly recommend this for any back in the day party. The only thing was the cover really, was a little uninventive and very dated, but then again you dont buy music for the look of the cover do you! All the great favorites on there and a couple of slowies too it wont fail to get your foot taping especially all you 30 somethings! Made me want to don my rah rah skirt and platforms and dance the night away... Read review

...This is an excellent follow up to the debut album Dreamland. Just let the smooth lyrics take you on another journey that plays with your imagination, Listen to the melodic lyrics as they guide you through the album. With Tracks ranging from the hit single, "Freedom" with Kathy Sledge (of Sister Sledge fame), to the 10 minute epic, "Everyday Life". The Artwork in the sleeve is great too and includes all the lyrics. Definitely money well spent. ...Disco. You either love it or hate it. I am in the first category. I think there is something about 70’s disco that can not fail to make you smile and dance. After a backlash against disco in the early 80’s there has been a resurgence in the genre in the past 10 years or so and this has meant a lot of the old disco artists music being re-released onto CD. Sister Sledge are one of my all-time favourite groups, and We Are Family is one of the most played CD’s in my collection. They have great voices, and I think that this album is definitely a classic. There were four sisters in the group: Debbie, Joni, Kim and Kathy Sledge. They all share lead vocals and harmonies, but really Kathy was the main lead in the group, and was also the youngest member of the group, she was 19 when this album was recorded. This album...
