Advantages: Consistent mean beat from start to finish. Tracks a good reflection of their own work.
Disadvantages: Maybe track 3 doesnt quite fit in with the rest, but still its good!

...Got this CD a couple of years ago and wow, was I impressed! Peace Division have put together this superb mix CD that is the ultimate speaker blaster tool. They have slung together tracks similar in nature to their own releases. You have to play this one loud. The first track "Decomposition - Earth Deuley" slowly builds itself up and is a great start to the mix. It begins with lyrics that make you feel that you are about to embark on a journey. The third track "I Wanna Be" brings some melodic life to the mix. "Downtown - EFF" has a subtle tribal element to it. This CD contains some serious roll-your-sleeves-up deep, dark beats that certainly sound best at night. Well worth the money!... Read review

...Our Lady Peace are a Canadian rock band which have had a fair amount of local success, but are little known this side of the pond. I enjoyed their two previous albums ('Happiness is not a fish that you can catch' and 'Spiritual Machines'). Spiritual Machines was a concept album which actually worked quite well, based upon an old Ray Kurzweil book about how Machines will out evolve us. However, since then, their guitarist left on 'artistic grounds', and it shows. Our Lady Peace have always been soft/cheesy rock, but with this they have crossed the line, with songs like 'Innocent', you feel like there is little left to say other than cliches. I had been waiting for this album eagerly for a long time before it was released, but I have to say that I am dissapointed. It isn't that it is a really bad album, but I won't listen... Read review

Advantages: A good, basic classical piece to have in the repertoire!
Disadvantages: Some tracks very technical, not easy listening

..., the leftovers of life, the mourning of the lost comrades. A lone trumpeter and a solitary bell, provides the ambience of devastation. Torches Similar to Angry Flames, a scene of searching for the dead, and moving off elsewhere. The grim reality of mortality. Agnus Dei Asking for divine peace, the choir sing in latin. This beautiful peace was also in the most requested on a certain classical music radio station. This peace has a lilting quality using the traditional invocations of a latin mass. The melody is simple beautiful and shows Jenkin's big talent for writing ecclesiastical choral music. Now the Guns have stopped A weary battle survivor and his lonliness and despair. Benedictus Another latin mass, purely instrumental in the outset, with the choir joining halfway through. A quiet start for what blossoms into a defiant and spine chilling... Read review
