Advantages: Very toned guitar riffs with loads of effects makes it spectacular Disadvantages: Can be a-bit repeatative at parts
...Steve vai is a World famous guitarist. He is American and has played guitar since he was a kidso it goes without saying that he is great at what he does.
His playing takes many different tones but they are all designed to capture the listeners emotions. This CD has a very rock feel to it but it captures lots of emotions from Love to sorrow.
Steve has been in many bands since he was a kid. This is his most recent album with his band"steve Vai"

Advantages: Beautiful tracks with melodic solos and harmonic vocals Disadvantages: Tracks 9 -11 and the fact that we know its the last album with Perry
...- Drums
Jon Cain - Keyboards
Ross Valory - Bass
This is something Journey fans didnt expect due to Steve Smith and Ross Valory being withdrawn from the lineup in 86 for the Raised on Radio Album (Album Featuring Randy Jackson on bass and Michael Baird on drums) and so having all the boys together was something that added to the success of the album. Some of the tracks on the album namely "One More" and "Castles Burning" less easy listening than the others as with these tracks Journey goes back to its roots as a more Heavy Rock Band but anything with Steve Perrys Voice in is sure to be enjoyed. My personal favourite on the album is the title track "Trial by Fire" which is abeautifully written song which is an easy listening tune good for driving in the car. I purchased the album for £10 from Amazon some 6 months ago and so new buyers should...

Advantages: Truely awesome lyrics and music Disadvantages: Couldn't name one.
...This is possibly my favourite Def Leppard album of all time. It is definately one of the most forgotten albums, only remembered for 'Let's Get Rocked' but it really contains more than that.
This was the album compiled just after Steve Clarks death and really had sentimental vaulue to the band. Steve was one of the main contributors to the songs on the album and the album was put out in memory of his creative genius. The inlay of the album has a few pages dedicated to him that shows them probably at their most vulnerable time, looking back on all the times when they should have seen the destruction going on behind the mans eyes. But it was definately never easy. My heart goes out to the band, for coping so well with such a terrible happening. Def Leppard have really had the worst things thrown at them, but always turned them into a life...
