Review of Radio 1's Live Lounge Vol.1 - Various Artists by Goldfish100

Advantages: Great acoustic music
Disadvantages: some tracks are not how you know them

...I don't often listen to Radio 1, but this one time I did, they were playing only tracks recorded in the live lounge - And I Loved It. the songs were not remastered and you could hear the lyrics and music without all the extras that make some people buy their tracks. The copies by artists of other artists songs are of superb quality, and some really make it their own. When I listen to them I just love the fact that they are live recordings with no additionals. Its great that artists are comfortable with singing live, acoustic, and other peoples songs. By listening to the tracks you can tell which artists can sing and which artists definately need to remaster their tracks to sell their singles/albums. Or which need to lip synch for their live gigs. I'll let you make up your own mind who you think these artists are out of artists like... Read review

My Personal opinion of Angels
Review of Angel (A Tribute To Robbie Williams) - Men United by CheckoutChick

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...This song is the one that started Robbie Willians solo career. I think a lot of people like it because they believe and relate to angels. He sings it at most concerts and lets the audience take over. Its a really nice song and most people I know have heard of it. I listen to it because I love Robbie. Various age group would buy and listen to the CD from young people to older ones. He can entertain us all. I have recommended the CD to all my friends when it first came out.... Read review

A Black & White Delight!!
Review of Black And White Night [Remastered] - Roy Orbison by blackbeard

Advantages: Well worth the money, can watch over and over again
Disadvantages: A little bit short on running time

...to film it in Black & White?? Make it look old? Give it some character? Who knows, but with this show, it really works!!! Roy Orbison (with friends) Black & White Night Music DVD ***The Show*** This show was put together to pay tribute to Roy Orbison, for his life time achievement of over 30 years in the entertainment business. The Show was recorded live, a one time special event, filmed in Black & White at Los Angeles’s Coconut Grove in 1987. The show itself included Roy Orbison and a star studded line-up of friends. The “friends” were all individual recording artists themselves and all had volunteered to be part of the show in tribute to this great artist. The most unusual thing is that all the stars involved played as one huge band, instead of having individual spots… The most enjoyable thing about this live session... Read review
