Advantages: U2 songs... Disadvantages: Nothing anybody has ever done before
...Some poeple saw this Soundtrack as a new U2 album, with 2 new U2 tracks (The Ground Beneith Her Feet- Written by Saldam Rushdie and Stateless) and 3 new tracks written by Bono. The film itself however has had oor reviews, I have not seen it myself although I wouldn't mind. Also in the album are extracts of the film and short music played by the M$H Band, The First Time (From U2's Zooropa) and different versions of Lou Reeds satellite of love. It is a very relaxing album with lots of woodwind music playing in the back ground. U2 fans should buy this if they have the money spare as the tracks will not be released. A great soundtrack, although not the best I've ever heard....

Advantages: It'll blow your socks off Disadvantages: You can't stop listening to it
...This is, quite simply, the best soundtrack I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. There is not a bad track on the album. In fact, I would have to say that there is not one song on the soundtrack that is not excellent in its own right, together they make for a formidable mixture which only makes brief visits to the CD rack before being restored to its rightful place in my CD player.

It offers such a heady mixture of sublime melancholy in songs such as Colorblind by Counting Crowns, blended with just the right amount of slightly more upbeat tracks that are still just as deep and atmospheric, such as Comin' Up From Behind by Marcy Playground.
I bought this soundtrack because I found when I watched the film that the music moved me more than...

Advantages: Hard rocking and very fast Disadvantages: can't think of any!
...If you have seen the film you will know what to expect. Just listen to Brian May on the guitar and you will see why they are one of the best in their field. Who would expect Queen to do a soundtrack for a sci-fi film? It does work and as usual their talent shines through. Many instrumental tracks and this shows them at their best. Many bands can't get away with no vocals, but only because these lads can play instruments. With so many bands that can't play instruments and sing, they could learn a thing or two from Queen. Best thing to do is close your eyes, close the curtains and let yourself be taken by the music. If you think it is strange and can't follow what is happening, watch the film first. Trust me, you will love the film as well!...
