Angels is the song which started up the career of the amazingly talented Robbie Williams and launched his career from then until a long time to go. From 1997 since this single came out until now and for many years to come Angels is an astounding single which would probably be more of a national anthem than any other song. Love or Hate Robbie probably the whole of the nation knows basically the whole set of lyrics to it or would be able to scream out the chorus with the very high 'All' and 'Waterfall' ( Seriously it hurts your ears if the person singing it can't sing lol) or at least hum along to the tune.
The song is a sad , emotional , powerful and beautiful song which can make you smile, laugh and sing along all at once. When i was looking through all the other reviews of Angels on Ciao every single one of them had 5 stars to the song except one person , who mistaken angels for Rock Dj , Totally different type of song but ...hey ! This may be only the opinion of some people on Ciao but i think it shows the pure power and effect angels has got on people.
Robbie may be known to have been a bit of a bad boy but Angels totally disagrees with this image as it is a sweet, romantic and beautiful which to me is the real Robbie shining through because through my eyes Robs not a bad boy at all just a little sweetie !
Angels is probably such a popular song because everyone can relate to the lyrics of it and have felt the emotions Rob was going through at the time. We all feel sad, lonely and unloved sometime and i think that relation makes the song all that bit more relatable.
Before the release of this single Robs first Solo album was not doing great and it was slipping out of the top 40 very quickly but after the release of angels which remarkably only reached number 4 in the charts the album shot straight to number one and remained there for many weeks.

Back for good: Live punked up version of Robbie's old bands major hit : back for good , at the beginning of the song before he sings it he says you will know this song but trsust me in the chorus it gets much better , it does it is all rocky and lively , great sound and about a million times better than the original and as a bonus there is no gary barlow singing in it HUrah lol !
Walk this Way: A Christmas Tune as the single came out in december just in time for Christmas , very luvely and humourous such as the lyrics " Happy Birthday Jesus Christ , heres the spice girls merchindise "

Advantages: soothing Disadvantages: not for non soppy people

This song is the one that started Robbie Willians solo career. I think a lot of people like it because they believe and relate to angels. He sings it at most concerts and lets the audience take over. Its a really nice song and most people I know have heard of it. I listen to it because I love Robbie. Various age group would buy and listen to the CD from young people to older ones. He can entertain us all. I have recommended the CD to all my friends ...

If Im honest there have only ever been a few Robbie Williams songs I actually like and Angels is definatley one of them. This song, so I hear, was written for his mum and shows that he obviously has something else rather than the tough rebel guy he seems to come across. The lyrics are something you would think Ronan Keating would of written and at first I thought Robbie was doing a cover version of one of boyzones tracks as it is so unlike anything ...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!!
He's the greatest thing to happen to British Pop since Nena thought about her red baloons.
Robbie is a great showman and this is his best work to date which is a classic. He really has taken over from Freddie Mercury in the top showman in the pop world.
Since leaving Take That he has gone from strength to strength which is great as Barlow has gone down the drain (Hooray!)
