...together perfectly. Occasionally, the harmony would drop back to allow one voice to shine through for a moment on a particularly meaningful line, before all coming together again. This song is beautiful either way, but these four voices make it heavenly.
Another particular favourite of mine is Ave Maria. I'm sure many readers will have heard one version or other of this song, as it's a Hail Mary, set to music. This version is set to music composed by Schubert. On this piece, all four voices begin the song together, and manage to convey a combination of reverence, worship, and joy, again harmonizing wonderfully.
Last but not least in my three favorites is a song I suspect every reader of this review will have heard before at some point. Robbie Williams "Angels". This song, I've always felt the lyrics were beautiful, but I never liked...

4, Ya Gotta Look After Yourself
This piece is typically jazzy and cheesey, and features the cast, and the Angel City Four who really add to the cheese, and answer the cast when lines happen like… <CAST>- 'you gotta look out for yourself…'
<Angel City Four> 'LOOK OUT!!'
This is an all encompassing piece, with the cast, the choir, and nice little soli section from all the sections in the band. Very bouncy- you can't listen to it too often!
5, Buddy System
This is a solo song by Rene Aubernonois, who plays Buddy, and he is the lead in the business when it comes to putting stories on the screen. I really like these lyrics, they're literally describing what he does, and it sums him up when he sings 'the book may be yours but the movie is mine'. It also has a slightly dark undertone, when he talks about "you don't want to upset Buddy...

Advantages: a lot of catchy funky tracks, the girls' voices Disadvantages: a couple of not-so-good tracks
....
"Supernatural"
A jittery bouncy tune which has a slight American r & b vibe to it. The lyrics are slightly silly ("Supernatural/International/Unstoppable/That's Just how it goes/it's practical/it's actual/it's a fact that everybody wanna be loved") but its funky and an easy song to sing along to and enjoy.
"Angels with Dirty Faces"
Another fave of mine, this title track is very upbeat and sounds slightly eighties to me. It is about them not being as innocent as they look, how appearances can be deceptive.
"Cos this is driving me crazy, tell me what do you see, I'm not an innocent girl."
The chorus is great and the girls' voices blend together fantastically on it. The only downside is the rapped verse towards the end - don't try to be "street", girls! It doesn't work!!!
"Virgin Sexy"
In terms of musical style, this reminds me...
