Disadvantages: A couple of tracks weren't as strong as the rest

"L.A.X."(Life and Times) is the third, and supposedly final, album by the Compton rapper, The Game. I say 'supposedly' because many rappers have claimed to be retiring in the past, but it doesn't happen too many of those times, so I doubt that an artist with only three albums under his belt and a record label with no mainstream artists will just call it quits. 1. "Intro" 2. "LAX Files" The Game kicks the album off in a big way as he challenges all the fake thugs out there who have no idea of waht it's like to be subject to a Gangsta lifestyle; where your life is constantly under threat. With a haunting piano to back it up and the utilisation of the screwed techinque, you feel intimidated by the lyrics which he comes out with, making those who it is directed to question whether they should continue to do so. **Three Stars ...

Review of LAX (Los Angeles Times) [PA] - Game (The)

Angelic

Advantages: Very unique smell, long lasting, attractive packaging
Disadvantages: Initially very strong smelling, quite expensive

I think I have heard more bad comments about this fragrance than any other. But, in the one week which I have been wearing it, I have had about 5 people stop me and ask me what kind of fragrance I am wearing. Angel isn't by all means a new fragrance. I was first introduced in 1993. Over 10 years old. Wow! If people are still wearing it, and talking about it, I definitely think that it has made an impression. I remember the first time ever smelling this fragrance. A friend of a friend was wearing it. My first impressions of it, were very strong, and a very unique but girly smelling fragrance. Extremely sweet smelling, and although this has a vanilla base, it isn't distinctive. Definitely not a fragrance that anyone and everyone could get away with buying. Review of Thierry Mugler Angel Eau de Parfum Spray Refillable

No Angel although her voice is quite angelic at times

Advantages: Good for chilling out with. Great vocals. Good booklet. Just right length.
Disadvantages: Just one poor track in my opinion

sad song, lamenting possibly the death of a loved one "the last kiss" etc. It also emphasises Dido's great voice though and is a good song. "All You Want" is another ballad. This time telling the story of one night of unfaithfulness. "Thank You" is probably Dido's best known song from this album, it reached number 3 and has been eclipsed only by "White Flag" from "Life For Rent" in terms of commercial success. This time the subject is contentment in love although it is still quite a slow song. "Honestly Ok" tackles loneliness but is pleasant enough listening whilst "Slide" deals with tiredness and making mistakes. This is also one of my personal favourites. "Isobel" tells us about friendship and her Irish roots whilst "I'm No Angel" wants to get across the message that nobody is perfect, this is a beautiful and haunting song ...
