Advantages: A wide range of unique songs. Disadvantages: Some songs are not so favourable to me, but they may be to you!
...Russian born, new york raised singer songwriter Regina Spektor never fails to bring a unique and interesting level to the music industry. The release Mary Ann and the Gravediggers, is by far her most inventive and most "out there" album, in my opinion. Track listing is as follows:
Disc: 1
1. Oedipus
2. Love Affair
3. Poor Little Rich Boy
4. Sailor Song
5. Mary Ann
6. Prisoners
7. Consequence of Sound
8. Daniel Cowman
9. Lacrimosa
10. Pavlov’s Daughter
11. Chemo Limo
12. Us
Disc: 2
1. Survival Guide to Soviet Kitsch
2. Us (Video)
Most importantly, Regina's songs make the listener think, they are so widely varied, drawing on influences from greek mythology, with Oedipus, the myth of a boy who inadvertenly kills his father and sleeps with his mother, albeit unbeknown to him at the time. Pavlov's daughter...

Do believe the hype Review ofRush Of Blood To The Head, A - Coldplayby
DrownedInSound
Advantages: Every track Disadvantages: None..honest
...If Parachutes was about coming down then this album is definetely about going up..and staying there. This second outing is nothing short of stellar. A triumph in all respects, it displays a new found intensity and has less of the self-pitying angst eschewed on Parachutes. There IS still plenty of angst, but its angst-wiv-an-additude. As soon as you hear Chris Martin's soaring vocals belting out "give me love over this" on Politik you know that you're in for a revelation. I'm not going to be sad and give you a track by track deconstruction..rather you made up your own mind about them.
Coldplay have achieved that very rare thing..living up to and indeed surpassing the deamnds made of a second album. This is a blinding collection..buy it cos you wont be disappointed(and if you are then you deserve to be force fed Blue for the rest of your...

Advantages: Ass kicking and clever rock tunes Disadvantages: A little cliche.
...This young North American star has so much potential and star power. Her writing and lyrical skills are evident from the start with her quirky takes on themes and her personal touch on every track. Unfortunately the neither the album or any of the singles sold well. The song 'Overdrive' was however featured on the 'Mean Girls' soundtrack and 'Lemon' was on the 'Thirteen' soundtrack.
The tracklisting is as follows:
1. Overdrive - The lead single and one of the standout tracks. Perfect summer anthem with guitar heavily featured. The fantastic chorus is one that you will almost certainly be singing along to.
2. I Like - Another song that was meant for single release. This is another standout! (personal favourite). The brilliant guitar and drums create the perfect setting for this teenage angst / love anthem which is certainly...
