Anhedoniac [Remastered] - Jarboe

...The whole series of remastered CDs from EMI are well worth buying. This is classic old style Hawkwind-original, and as such should be treasured and enjoyed, and this CD will help you do that. The remasteing has been carried out well, and I really enjoy the remix. This is one of my favourite Hawkwind albums, one of the first I would put on when moving into a new house after I had connected up the HiFi. It mixes full on blanga with softer stuff, both of which benefit from the remastering. The packaging, as is common with the other EMI remasters, is a joy, and the extra tracks complement nicely the album (rather than being a bit out of style, like they are on Doremi) with a couple of single cuts and "It's so easy".
